INTRODUCTION
The importance of growing native Irish trees and plants to protect our bio-diversity, encourage pollinators and most importantly, save our bees, is now well recognised.
I have spent almost 30 years rewilding my ‘little piece of heaven’ here in Naul. I started developing my native Irish wildflower and herb meadows, woodlands and wetland areas, long before meadows or ‘rewilding’ were popular.
The best way to learn is through experience, experimentation, and trial and error. After all these years I have finally come up with a method that works and I am now looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you.
WORKSHOP CONTENT
Join me at The Herb Garden where I will teach you about the methods I have used to re-wild my garden, and to create woodland, wetland and wildflower meadow areas using only the existing native Irish wild plants that are indigenous to the area.
I will also teach you how to create a traditional wildflower meadow from scratch without using chemicals.
This workshop is suitable for all gardeners, whether you are just starting out or you are an experienced gardener who wants to create wild areas in your garden that are both visually pleasing and beneficial to all life forms on our planet.
We will cover options and methods that can be used in small, medium and large gardens.
