Cottage Garden Flowers
Old fashioned cottage garden flowers add a splash of colour and attract butterflies, bees and beneficial insects. Generally easy to grow, most of them also self seed, turning up in unexpected new locations.
A bunch of cottage garden flowers in an old jug beats any formal flower arrangement, especially when scented varieties are included. Many also produce decorative seed heads which are an added bonus, both in the garden and for dried flower arrangements.
